Video: Canada geese get rowdy at Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge

After walking most of the trails of the Greenlaw Brook Division of the Aroostook Wildlife Refuge on April 30, 2013, I sat down by the shore of Chapman Pond to watch a group of Canada geese. At first, they swam away, honking at me in alarm, but after some minutes of sitting still, they decided I didn’t pose a threat and seemed to ignore my presence. I took some photos and a short video of their antics. I have no idea what this one goose is doing in the video, other than the fact that he’s clearly chasing a goose and telling the others to stay out of his business. It’s quite amusing.
