Where in the woods am I? Harpswell Hiking Challenge

Justin Hennessey and Carolyn Newbert won the “Where in the Woods Am I?” game for the Harpswell Hiking Challenge in June 2013 given these verbal clues and the following gallery of photos:

Last weekend, instead of going on one hike, I went on a series of hikes with my sister, Jillian, and dog, Oreo. So, this week’s “Where in the woods am I?” game and “1-minute hike” video will be a little different… but exciting and informative, I hope.

By viewing two photo galleries, try to guess what Maine town I’m hiking in. The photos are taken on eight separate trails, and feel free to identify those as well (though I can’t imagine anyone guessing all eight of the trails)! Leave your best guesses in the comment section below. Winner gets an internet high five (as always), as well as a mention in the updated post.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s “1-minute hike” video and writeup on this hiking adventure.

This first gallery displays photos from the first few trails in the outdoor excursion. After viewing these photos, feel free to click here on Part 2 to go to the second gallery. I simply didn’t want to blow up my blog. I think there’s a limit to how many photos I can upload per post. 🙂

Go to the second gallery to see the rest of the hiking excursion.
