Where in the woods am I?

Autumn officially begins on Sept. 22, but in my opinion, it’s already here — the thermometer tells me so. While I love summer (and yes, it always goes by too quickly), I’m looking forward to autumn, my favorite month for hiking. No bugs, colorful foliage, crisp air, refreshing wind and perfect temperatures.

Last Friday, my dog Oreo and I enjoyed the cooler temperatures and late summer sun as we hiked up a mountain by the ocean. See if you recognize the fire tower at the top and the panoramic views by scrolling through the photo gallery below. Guess which mountain we hiked in the comment section at the bottom of the page. Winner gets a high five and a mention in the updated post! And as always, stay tuned for tomorrow’s “1-minute hike” video and summary of the hike.
