A group of local organizations and individuals have been working together to construct a public trail system that will connect Hampden schools, and they’re ready to showcase Phase 1 of the project.

Free cross-country ski rentals will be available to use during the event. Visitors can warm up by a small bonfire, where refreshments will be served. (Marshmallows anyone?)

The trail will serve RSU #22 students and staff, as well as the greater community. Phase 1 of the project was completed this fall with all volunteer labor. The hope is to complete Phase 2 in the coming months, resulting in a 2.5km loop for non-motorized recreation.
