Where in the woods am I? Trenton Community Trail

Rich Brey won the “Where in the Woods Am I?” game for Trenton Community Trail in December 2014 given these verbal clues and the following gallery of photos:

After covering Oreo’s paws with Musher’s Secret, a wax that helps protect him from the cold and rough ice and snow, we headed into the woods on Thursday to check out a trail network that opened just last year. The temperature hovered in the 30s, but in the wind, it felt much colder. Fortunately, we were under the cover of trees for most of the hike.

I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the trails were, with many narrow wooden bridges, educational signs and a wide boardwalk leading out into a bog. See if you recognize the trails by viewing the photo gallery below. Leave your best guesses in the comment section at the bottom of the page. Winner gets a high five and a mention in the updated post. (I’m currently in the process of updating all “Where in the woods am I” posts and fixing some old hiking videos that aren’t playing!) And if you like the looks of this hike, which is less than an hour from Bangor, stay tuned for the “1-minute hike” video and writeup, which I will be posting tomorrow.
