Derek, Oreo and I visited a state park over the weekend to play in some snow. While many state parks close their gates during the winter, that doesn’t mean they’re not open for public day use. You just have to park outside the gate and walk in! This particular state park is a winter hangout for ice fisherman, cross-country skiers and snowshoers alike.
