Where in the Woods am I? Unity College Forest

The answer is… Unity College Forest in Unity! And the winner of this “Where in the Woods” trail ID contest is Brian Fisher of Unity. After looking at the photo gallery, Brian guessed the location correctly and will receive a $50 gift card to L.L.Bean in the mail for his efforts.

Thank you all for playing! Come back next week for another “Where in the Woods” contest!

Here’s the original text of the contest post:

We’re raising the stakes for the weekly “Where in the Woods” trail ID contest. The prize for this week’s contest is a $50 gift card to L.L.Bean! Pretty awesome, right?

Here’s how it works

Each week on Monday I post a gallery of photos from my latest hike in Maine. The “Where in the Woods” game is simple. Look at the photos and guess where I hiked, being as specific as possible. Then enter your best guess in the graphic right here:

Of the people who guess the trail (or trails) correctly, we will randomly draw a winner for the L.L.Bean gift card, which will be sent to the winner in the mail right away!

Sometimes I hike easy forest trails, other weeks you’ll see me atop some of Maine’s tallest mountains. I like to mix it up, and I try to travel all over the state of Maine for my adventures.

AND if you like the looks of the hike from the photos I post for the “Where in the Woods” contest on Monday, don’t forget to stay tuned for Tuesday, when I post the “1-minute hike” video and written description of the hike, including detailed driving directions so you can check it out for yourself!
